I think Squeenix is trying to give Microsoft what they been missing with Nathan Drake. Crystal Dynamics have their crossbows sights pointed squarely at the Naughty Gods in their attempt for the action adventure crown.
Dollars to doughnuts, it's timed. I haven't been a Tomb Raider fan since she had those 50J polygon implants, but I haven't played it since then either. Are they good? Maybe they'll have her in a XBundle.
Three things come out for me from both conferences...Tomb Raider exclusivity and getting my candy taken away from me. But the game I'm most looking forward to was in the Sony Conference...HellBlade.
I don't know if it is exclusive, nor do I care, but it seems oddly like Heavenly Sword. GAAWWD! I love that game and the art style in the graphics is so awesome. I guess I'm a Ninja Theory fan. So they won!

You need to break down multi-platform games by console to have an accurate comparison between the two. For example, I'm sure GTA would take two spots in the top 5, with XBox 360 version being #1. But TLOU would be somewhere in the middle of the list.

It is a trend that is happening to Titanfall and Dead Rising as well. We can debate as to the reason why they are being thrust on the PC market so early, but the fact is they are there. For a PC gamer, there is no reason to buy a XBOne for those titles, which is great for PC gamers who have seen their market shrink, due largely to consoles. It'll just be at the expense of XBox brand value - and maybe not that much of a loss.

What are we waiting for exactly...? Games, because we're always waiting for games? That means they're coming and I need to play the great games that Sony has recently given to me (Last of Us, Transistor, Oddworld) so I can play upcoming games (First Light, Destiny, Drive Club). It was pretty bad last gen, but I don't know if it is any less worse now. PS3 had some serious issues. Now it looks like similar missteps were made with the XBOne. I'm sure MS will further rectify the situation somehow...
But I'll probably always be a PlayStation gamer first. It just seems more agree with me this gen than last gen. But if I had more than enough scratch I'd buy all three in a heartbeat just in case something like Mass Effect and Gears come...
